{Day 31} Nineteenth Century Big Brother

sharing with Rural Thursday
all old farms used to have a tower like this so the master of the house could watch all his workers on the fields, from a distance, without being noticed. the fields no longer exist, just the old house and its tower still remains. the city grew around it.

This is a fabulous photo, Ana. Imagine if our red barns had towers like this? ;)

Thanks so much for sharing with us at Rural Thursdays.

I would love a tower like this - one tall enough to let me watch all the critters moving through our woods. I, too, would like to know where this is.
